Nepali female singer Swarupa Rasaily visited Kuwait to perform her Teej songs during this year's Teej festival, Nepali women's biggest festival. Nepal Kuwait Sanskrit Manch organised the program sponsored by UAE Exchange and Himal Remit. The Teej special program was organised on 22nd August 2014 at Wedding Hall, Jilip in Kuwait. The program was attended by hundreds of Nepali women and men as well. Perhaps, this overseas musical tour should be Swarupa Rasaily's first one as a guest artist from Nepal. Swarupa managed to control the mass and entertained to the fullest. Many women and men came forward to the stage and dance with Swarupas' live performance. Swarupa sang the Teej songs including 'Pir Byatha', 'Cham Cham Cham' and her superhit Teej song 'Yaspali Ko Teej'. Swarupa Rasaily was later honoured with letter of appreciation at the end of the event.
